Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
2. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
3.  Entry is only open to members of the Photograph Australia site who are Australian residents.
4.  Employees of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or submitting an entry, which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person, per week. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
6.  To be eligible to enter, submit your photograph by following the instructions at www.photographaustralia.com.au/photo_of_the_week.
7. Please limit JPEGs to 800 pixels on the longest side and 200 KB.
8. By submitting a photograph, along with your details, you will automatically be placed into the draw. Your details must include your username.
9. The entrant must be the photographer of the image and must hold the copyright on the entry. 
10.  The promotion commences on Monday 01.02.10 and closes on Sunday 19.12.10.  All valid entries received by 11.59pm AEST every Sunday will be eligible for the weekly competition. Only entries completed and submitted online will be accepted.
11. Submissions for each week will be judged on the Monday of each week, and the winning entry for that week will be posted on the home page at www.photographaustralia.com.au by 5.00pm AEST every Monday for one week only. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. At the end of the year Steve Parish will select one lucky first place winner and two runners up from the 46 weekly finalists. The winner will receive a PHOTOGRAPHIC FIELD PACKAGE valued at $250.00. The two runners up will receive a Steve Parish book package.
13.  Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
14. In the event that for any reason whatsoever, a prize winner does not take an element of the prize, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
15. By submitting an entry, Steve Parish Publishing is assigned the right to publish the entry on the Photograph Australia website and is permitted to resize, resample and crop the photograph as needed for best presentation on the site. The entrant will retain all rights to the photograph and it will not be published anywhere else except the Photograph Australia website without further permission from the photographer. The entrant must be the photographer and they must hold the copyright on the entry.
16. In the event that the Promoter is unable to contact the finalist winner by 31 January 2011, the first runner up will receive the prize pack.
